If your team doesn’t understand what they’re receiving, they’ll assume they’re being shortchanged—even if they’re not. Value must be explained, shown, and tied to your employer brand.

Phase 1 – Define the Full Scope of Total Rewards 

Break it into clear categories with real-world impact:

Phase 2 – Build the Total Rewards Pitch 

This isn’t a spreadsheet. It’s a story. 

→ Teach leaders to pitch it like this:

“Here’s how this aligns with our values and how we work”

Phase 3 – Evolve Based on Perception 

→ Run quarterly pulse checks: “What do you value most?” “What’s unclear?”
